Owing to its history, rich content, the thematic diversity of its collection (encompassing all scientific areas), and the fact that it is constantly updated, this collection can be considered to be the most important University Library in the country in the fields of economics and business.

Our library is a dynamic space for cultural and scientific activities, closely connected to the school and the community, reflecting its mission and privileged location.

The ISEG Library has modern facilities that allow users to make comfortable use of its resources, with equipment to access bibliographic and numerical databases. It also has qualified staff to assist readers in information research. The opening hours are designed to accommodate these services alongside the professional activities of its users.

In this context, it is worth emphasizing that the library is a privileged study space, so it is important to observe the established regulations, particularly regarding noise (respecting the study of other users) and adherence to borrowing rules.

The FRANCISCO PEREIRA DE MOURA Library originated with a collection of 650 volumes at the former Instituto Superior de Comércio, located in the building on Rua do Quelhas.

The Information System is based on an internally produced database and access to various international online information systems.

The Library building has 5 floors, numbered 0 to 4, with a total area of approximately 3,577 m².
